Our Story

The Pizza Shoppe first opened for business on Halloween night - October 31, 1980, in downtown Mancelona, by Bernie and Sue Blackmore.

We are a family owned and operated, friendly pizzeria dishing up specialty pies, subs, wings, salads and more.

At the Pizza Shoppe, you're not treated just as a customer - you're friends and family! Come enjoy good conversation, a big screen TV, spacious booths and table spaces.

Bernie fought a courageous battle with cancer and passed away in February, 2015. Sue, her son Jason, and his family continue to operate the restaurant today.
